Eileen Levinson

Founder & Executive Director

Eileen Levinson is a London-based designer & artist. Her work re-imagines Jewish ritual for contemporary audiences. In addition to her projects within the Jewish community, Eileen served as Creative Director with Kin Community, a women’s-focused MCN on YouTube, from the brand’s launch in 2011 until summer 2015. Eileen has an MFA from the program in Graphic Design at CalArts, and BA from Washington University in St. Louis.

Rebecca Missel is an ideator, gatherer and activist. With experience in large nonprofits, Israeli start-ups, synagogues and grassroots organizing, Rebecca brings creativity and passion to everything she does. She has been published in The Forward and holds master’s degrees in public policy from the University of Maryland and in Jewish communal service from Baltimore Hebrew University. A recipient of the Brody Award and a FEREP Fellowship, Rebecca was named to The Jewish Week's 36 Under 36 for her work as president and founder of Jersey Tribe. She lives in Jersey City, NJ with her community.

Ryn Silverstein

Ryn Silverstein is a writer, Kohenet Hebrew Priestess, and facilitator with a creative living practice that's embodied, queer, and ancestrally-rooted. They cultivate longing as a devotional practice, creating space in the everyday for dreaming and enchantment. They have an MA in Cultural Studies from Stony Brook University and a BA in Film Studies from Muhlenberg College.

Sydney Schwartz

Sydney Schwartz is a nonprofit operations specialist and problem-solver. Rooted in the tradition of Tikkun Olam, she has worked across the spectrum of nonprofit organizations in international development, peace and conflict resolution, humanitarian aid, refugee aid, and social justice. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Service with a minor in Arab Studies from American University in Washington, DC and a Master’s degree in Law: Dispute and Conflict Resolution with a focus on Middle East / North Africa from University of London: SOAS. In her free time, she continues her study of the Arabic language, cooks and bakes for her family and friends, and as a certified Cicerone, loves exploring new breweries around upstate New York.

Amanda Gross

Recently transitioning from software engineering to a nonprofit career, Amanda is eager to support the Haggadot.com team. Her passions include making impactful actions easy and enjoyable on a cultural scale, and creating access to emotional healing and mind-opening experiences. She holds degrees in Urban Studies and Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. She loves to travel – she splits her time between Rockville, MD (her hometown), New York City, and a meditation retreat center in the countryside near Rochester. Amanda received a beautiful Jewish education from her grandfather–now 98 years old–to whom she is very grateful.

Allen is an innovator who is passionate about improving lives through technology. His background spans from startups to Fortune 100. Allen holds an MBA as well as BS in Management & Marketing from California State University San Marcos. In his spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, camping with his family, and volunteering at his local senior center. Allen is based out of San Diego, CA.

Lisa Klinman

Foundation Relations Manager

Lisa is a nonprofit development specialist working primarily at the intersection of criminal justice and immigration reform. Over the course of the past decade she has consulted locally, nationally, and internationally with organizations dedicated to improving quality of living and access to services for marginalized communities, including sex worker communities, refugee communities, communities experiencing incarceration, and communities experiencing complex victimization and trauma. She is attracted to opportunities that enable her to support innovative and inclusive arts and culture projects, particularly within the Jewish community. She currently coordinates a youth oriented restorative justice program in Philadelphia, where she resides. Lisa completed her undergraduate degree at Bryn Mawr College ’12 and her masters in social policy at the University of Pennsylvania ’22.

Janna Trevers is a native New Yorker who has worked in Development and Communications in non-profit organizations for well over 10 years. Whether working to eradicate breast cancer,helping Long Island Neighbors in Need or working in various synagogues in Boston, New Jersey and New York in Board and Membership Communications, she believes in working for a cause about which she is truly passionate. Haggadot.com’s mission speaks very personally to Janna, and she is proud to be the new Donor Engagement Manager for an organization that allows Jews to experience their own Judaism. With a BS in Music and an MA in Jewish Studies, Janna is authentic and creative, and believes in Judaism for all who wish to celebrate and honor tradition, however it may be defined. In her spare time, Janna does community theatre, does yoga, sings at temples and at karaoke, and loves to eat dessert. She lives on Long Island with her daughter, Baia and her fiance, Todd.

Marissa Stein

Senior Marketing Manager

Marissa has nearly two decades of experience doing marketing for nonprofit and higher education institutions, including several Jewish nonprofits. She's a certified nonprofit communications director and has been instrumental in helping numerous organizations overhaul their marketing and communications strategies to achieve targeted results and achieve high growth. She has a passion for storytelling and has seen firsthand how stories can galvanize movements, spur action, and mobilize resources. Outside of marketing, Marissa has worked as a wilderness guide, day camp director, domestic violence outreach coordinator, international English teacher, and more. She has a bachelor’s degree in international development and cultural anthropology, and a master’s degree in marine and coastal resource management from The University of the West Indies in Barbados. She lives in Sacramento, California with her husband and two children, and is thrilled to join the Haggadot.com team and help promote such a happy, joyous cause.
