[All pour the fourth glass of wine.]

Leader:

As our Seder draws to an end, we drink one more glass of wine, a cup of hope. With this fourth cup, we are reminded of the tasks we have in making the world more just. We hold close the stories of resistance, of people and communities building and changing and creating a new world, driven by their hope for tomorrow. We give thanks for the experience of celebrating Passover together, for its wisdom and reminders to inform our daily lives and guide our actions.

We praise God, Ruler of Everything, who creates the fruit of the vine.

Leader:

The Seder now concludes: its rites have been observed in full (in my version at least) and its purposes revealed. Though we are at an end, we are also at a beginning. We begin the next season with a renewed awareness of the freedoms we enjoy and the obstacles we must still confront.

PEACE!
