Water is Life. It protects the baby in the womb, makes deserts bloom, quenches thirst, cleanses, and transforms. On its own, it has no shape, no set pattern. It is up to us, to our hands, to the vessels we choose, to give it form and purpose.

We pour a small amount of water over one another's hands in a ritual cleansing. We serve and are served and we are blessed although there is no blessing said aloud at this moment.
